Regular Special District Election Information
In accordance with section 1-13.5-303(1) and 1-13.5-303(4), self-nomination and acceptance forms are to be filed with the designated election official or, if none has been designated, with the presiding officer or the secretary of the board no earlier than January 1 and no later than the normal close of business on the sixty-seventh day before the date of a regular special district election.” Regular special district elections are held on the Tuesday succeeding the first Monday of May in every odd-numbered year, held for the purpose of electing members to the boards of special districts and for submission of other public questions, if any.
